The Seahawks recently brought back last season’s starting center Ethan Pocic. He signed a 1 year deal believed to be worth up to $3 million. Those terms are not convincing that he’s a lock to be a starter this season. If you read the Seahawks announcement: “The Seahawks are bringing back versatile offensive lineman Ethan Pocic, who took over the starting center job last season.” it is also not very convincing. Seattle did make an effort to sign Alex Mack before he signed a 3 year, $14.85 million contract with the 49ers. It is possible they target center in the draft, it is one of the deeper positions in talent this year. but they currently only have 3 draft picks to use, in rounds two, four, and seven. They also have versatile C/G Kyle Fuller still on the roster to compete for a starting position, if they decide to go that route.
